Logistics Administrator
Based: Redhill, Surrey

Job Purpose – To work effectively within the warehouse team on the daily administration operations, communicate effectively with customer service, clients and hauliers. Responsible for all warehouse administration.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Work alongside the Management & Commercial teams to control all aspects of Warehouse administration, ensuring all tasks are produced correctly to enable the efficient running of the warehouse, including despatch arrangements and receipts of goods, to communicate effectively any transit issues with customer’s service, clients and hauliers

Utilise Exact systems to process and maintain correct paperwork to ensure warehouse fulfilment i.e. job sheets, booking in, shipping notes

Support the consumable/Cycle counts and inventory to support sufficient supplies are available at all times

To update packing plan, excel sheets, and communicate with warehouse team and maintain security of company stock and assets

Liaise with Commercial team on service issues, resolve any major service problems to the customer service team satisfaction

Ensure a clean and safe working environment and Health & Safety aspects are maintained at all times

To comply with all standard operating procedures and ensure they are carried out efficiently within agreed time schedules

To ensure any queries are brought to the attention of Operations Manager immediately

You will be expected to assist in the development of systems and play a pro-active part in our continuous improvement programme
The successful candidate will ideally have the following background and will have the following qualities:

Previous experience in a similar role/environment

Professional in their approach to dealing with issues and employees

Strong organisational, administrative skills with attention to detail and a methodical approach

The ability to communicate confidently with a range of people both on the phone and face to face

Effectively influence those within his/her team

Good understanding of cycle counts is essential
